Renovation of Sundale Condos was done to lower future maintenance costs using James Hardie siding products. The condos had cupping and rotting cedar shingle siding that needed to be removed.
We tore off the existing cedar shingles. During the removal of the old siding, it was discovered that there was rot behind the decks under the patio doors. We had to remove the decks to make repairs so that the water would drain properly down the wall. After, new HardiePlank Lap siding and trim were install on the backside of all of the units. Now, with the backside of all these units updated with low maintenance James Hardie siding and trim, Sundale can keep future association maintenance costs down by eliminating the constant repair.
